Programs Committee

The Programs Committee plans events that include hosting a professional subject matter expert at our local chapter meetings. The Committee reports to the Vice President of Programs. Key responsibilities of the Program Committee include:
  • Develop and plan events that are interesting, engaging, provide practical knowledge, and that align directly to the BABOK.
  • Arrange speakers for events
  • Plan catering and event operations, including coordination of vendor contracts, number of attendees and meal selections
  •  Work with VP Marketing to obtain relevant sponsors to assist in financing of events
  •  Provide timely information to VP Marketing and VP Communications so they can advertise events, set up events online, update website and send out reminder emails about events
  • Develop surveys and collect feedback XE "feedback about programs"  on meetings from members including quality of programs, facilities, and suggestions 
The Programs Committee consists of people who take on the following roles:
  •   Catering Operations Coordinator
  •   Sponsors Coordinator
  •   Speakers and Presentation Themes Coordinator
  •   Event Calendar and Event Marketing Coordinator
