Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is a special committee which is convened for service during general and special elections, and is disbanded once the election has been completed.  The committee is responsible to the Board of Directors for ensuring that officer elections are conducted in a fair and equitable manner with respect to the Chapter by-laws and the international organization.

Responsibilities include:
  • Collect nominated candidate data for presentation to voting membership
  • Develop materials for elections including slate of nominees and election ballots
  • Oversee formal voting procedures during the appropriate general meeting session
  • Tally ballots submitted during the election
