International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) Rochester NY Chapter is now accepting applications for local chapter membership.
About IIBA® Membership
There are two levels of membership in IIBA®:
- international member of IIBA® itself, and
- member of one or more local chapters.
Each type of membership carries different responsibilities and benefits.
International organization:
IIBA® is a global organization, set up to serve the needs of the professional Business Analyst (BA). IIBA® controls the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK®), and the Certified Business Analysis Professional™ Exam (CBAP®). Membership in IIBA® shows that the member conforms to a professional code of practice, and belongs to a community of professionals that is dedicated to improving the quality of business analysis world wide. Local chapter:
Membership in the Rochester chapter of IIBA® offers these benefits:
- Networking with fellow business analysts from the Greater Rochester area
- Keeping current and involved with professional practices and developments
- Sharing expertise and learning from others
- Developing in-depth knowledge of business analysis ideas and best practices
- Discounting of Business Analysis professional development events
- Eligibility to join local IIBA® CBAP®study groups
- Voting privileges to help define chapter direction
- Ability to participate in Chapter committees
- Opportunity to influence and contribute to the profession and service of Business Analysis
To join the Rochester Chapter you must be a current international member of IIBA®. The chapter annual fee is $25.00, but the first year amount is prorated based on your IIBA® membership effective date. This lets our chapter use the same membership effective date and membership renewal process as IIBA®.
