Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee develops and implements strategies to promote the local Chapter and IIBA to businesses, academic institutions, local government, professional organizations, and the general public.  The Committee is responsible for promoting the local Chapter and IIBA through various media outlets when needed and/or required.  The Committee reports to the Vice President of Marketing.

Responsibilities include:
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with all entities within the region the Charter supports.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain promotion strategies for the local Chapter and IIBA throughout the region the Chapter supports.
  • Develop, implement and maintain media outlets that promote the local Chapter and IIBA which include (but are not limited to) the following: printed materials and publications, internet and related tools, and radio/television.
  • Develop measurable goals in order to monitor our penetration rate throughout the region the Chapter supports.
  • Create and manage an annual marketing budget with on-going communication to the VP of Finance.
  • Work with the Technology Committee to ensure that both existing and new technologies will support the Committees promotion strategies.
  • Provide information to the Communication Committee to be used in the chapter newsletter.

Sponsorship Subcommittee

The Sponsorship Subcommittee establishes partnerships with companies to provide support for the continuous development of our members, high quality educational programs, the development of meaningful opportunities for professional networking, and to foster community service involvement.  The Committee reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Technology.

Responsibilities include:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Sponsorship strategies and goals to establish partnerships that will ensure the Chapter can provide its members quality products and services in a fiscally responsible way.
  • Establish partnerships with, but not limited to, companies, vendors, employment firms, and academic institutions to solicit support for the Chapter financially or through the provisioning of products or services.
  • Establish partnerships with, but not limited to, companies, vendors, employment firms, academic institutions, local government, and other professional organizations to develop meaningful opportunities for professional networking and community service.
  • Work closely with the VP of Finance to ensure our financial, product and service contributions to the Chapter are properly recorded and documented.
  • Provide information to the Communication Committee to be used in the chapter newsletter.
